I am watching it from the beginning, for several years now and I can't point out that I'm tired. Not all things are smooth, you cannot assume all episodes are great, its not all plot twists are interesting and logical, in some places I even wished to abandon viewing, but, nevertheless, this really is among the finest game series, confidently maintaining the bar and intensity from season to season.
Everthing started so sometime ago with the reality that the area Sheriff left a coma and discovered himself in the joy of the apocalypse, where revived corpses scurry about everywhere. After which a number of adventures begin - reuniting with the family, locating a safe place to live, some betrayals and clashes with normal folks a lot more bloodthirsty and terrible compared to the dead.
Positive points:
- a lot of interesting characters, to which you really reach out, penetrate, with whom you live. Their relationship is intertwined and tangled, like some sort of Santa Barbara that is fun to follow.
- entourage: beautiful locations, super-decorations, great makeup. You search and believe right here is the world following your apocalypse. The series seriously isn't penny, it may please the eye.
- plot twists. All the times of year I did not like was thinking about a war relating to the Saviors of Negan and everybody else - a couple of boring episodes with pretentious speeches and poorly staged shootings. But all of those other plot is super, when it would appear that the authors have absolutely nothing to show us, a new interesting twist appears, characters and problems.
- soundtrack. The very first seasons did not spoil us with interesting melodies, but the last few contain excellent tracks, correctly selected to the place and time. They cheer up and highlight fragments, engraving in memory.
- interesting editing techniques. You can find inserts where not ordinary editing is applied, but juicy cuts, as being a clip, to music. For the health of such scenes, I need to revise the series, they sit in memory a lot better than the outstanding action.
