A string that can tighten, captivate, entertain, shock and in some cases make you cry. I have already been watching it from the beginning, for countless years now and I cannot claim that We're tired. Not everything is smooth, don't assume all episodes are perfect, not every plot twists are intriguing and logical, from time to time I even needed to abandon viewing, but, nevertheless, it is the most effective game series, confidently maintaining the bar and intensity from season to season.
It started so sometime ago with the reality that the local Sheriff left a coma determined himself in the field of the apocalypse, where revived corpses scurry about everywhere. And then loads of adventures begin - reuniting with the family, choosing a safe home to reside, a number of betrayals and clashes with others much more bloodthirsty and terrible as opposed to dead.
Positive points:
- a lot of interesting characters, to which team you really reach out, penetrate, with whom you live. Their relationship is intertwined and tangled, like an Santa Barbara that may be fun to follow.
- entourage: beautiful locations, super-decorations, great makeup. You search and believe that this is actually the world after the apocalypse. The series is not penny, it could please the eye.
- plot twists. All the times of year Some like was the idea of a war between the Saviors of Negan and everybody else - several boring episodes with pretentious speeches and poorly staged shootings. But the remainder plot is super, when it would appear that the authors have not even attempt to show us, a different interesting twist appears, characters and problems.
- soundtrack. The very first seasons did not spoil us with interesting melodies, but the last few contain excellent tracks, correctly selected with the place and time. They cheer up and highlight fragments, engraving in memory.
- interesting editing techniques. You can find inserts where not ordinary editing is used, but juicy cuts, as being a clip, to music. For the sake of such scenes, I would like to revise the series, they sit in memory as good as the greatest action. |
