A sequence that will be able to tighten, captivate, entertain, shock and in some cases make you cry. I've been watching it from the very beginning, for several years now and I cannot point out that I am tired. Not everything is smooth, only a few episodes are fantastic, don't assume all plot twists are intriguing and logical, every now and again I even planned to abandon viewing, but, nevertheless, this is certainly the most effective game series, confidently maintaining the bar and intensity from season to season.
All of it started so some time past with the fact your neighborhood Sheriff left a coma and discovered himself in the joy of the apocalypse, where revived corpses scurry about everywhere. And then a variety of adventures begin - reuniting with your loved ones, getting a rut to live, a series of betrayals and clashes with normal folks a lot more bloodthirsty and terrible compared to the dead.
Positive points:
- a huge number of interesting characters, to which you really reach out, penetrate, with who you live. Their relationship is intertwined and tangled, like some form of Santa Barbara that may be fun to follow.
- entourage: beautiful locations, super-decorations, great makeup. You gaze and believe this is actually the world after the apocalypse. The series will not be penny, it can please the eye.
- plot twists. All the seasons I didnt like was the thought of a war between your Saviors of Negan and everybody else - some boring episodes with pretentious speeches and poorly staged shootings. But the rest of the plot is super, when it appears that the authors have not even attempt to show us, a brand new interesting twist appears, characters and problems.
- soundtrack. The first seasons wouldn't spoil us with interesting melodies, but the previous few contain excellent tracks, correctly selected for the place and time. They cheer up and highlight fragments, engraving in memory.
- interesting editing techniques. You'll find inserts where not ordinary editing is used, but juicy cuts, such as a clip, to music. For the sake of such scenes, I have to revise the series, they sit in memory a lot better than the best action. |
