A sequence that has the ability to tighten, captivate, entertain, shock as well as turn you into cry. I have been previously watching it from the actual beginning, for quite some time now and I won't state that I'm tired. Not things are smooth, not every episodes are perfect, not all plot twists are interesting and logical, every now and then I even want to abandon viewing, but, nevertheless, it is one of the better game series, confidently maintaining the bar and intensity from season to season.
It all started so long ago with the belief that the neighborhood Sheriff exited a coma and found himself in the concept of the apocalypse, where revived corpses scurry about everywhere. Then all sorts of adventures begin - reuniting with the family, choosing a rut to live a life, several betrayals and clashes with people considerably more bloodthirsty and terrible versus dead.
Positive points:
- numerous interesting characters, to who you really reach out, penetrate, with whom you live. Their relationship is intertwined and tangled, like some type of Santa Barbara that is fun to follow.
- entourage: beautiful locations, super-decorations, great makeup. You gaze and feel that here is the world as soon as the apocalypse. The series seriously isn't penny, it can please the eye.
- plot twists. All the seasons Some like was the very idea of a war involving the Saviors of Negan and everyone else - a handful of boring episodes with pretentious speeches and poorly staged shootings. But the other plot is super, when apparently the authors have not even attempt to show us, a different interesting twist appears, characters and problems.
- soundtrack. The first seasons failed to spoil us with interesting melodies, but the previous couple of contain excellent tracks, correctly selected to the place and time. They cheer up and highlight fragments, engraving in memory.
- interesting editing techniques. You can find inserts where not ordinary editing is applied, but juicy cuts, such as a clip, to music. In the interest of such scenes, I would like to revise the series, they sit in memory much better than the most suitable action. |
