hi-did you folks remove the sharethis link that used to be on the product pages? i used to be able to directly share a link to facebook and twitter etc. with the sharethis link button that was provided. thanks

I think social bookmarking allows local communities to foster participation by actively encouraging people to submit things. Hyperlocal community websites have so far failed because they used the same old process of talking to people instead of talking with people. The old way is to tell people what the news is instead of asking what news is important to them. Social bookmarking can solve this by having community members actually participate. Everyone is a journalist
It's amazing how so many applications that claim to be social are nothing more than one-way communicating tools. A true social website is one in which everyone has a small part to play in determining the news.

Yes, we removed it because we are trying to increase page speed. We are testing to see if it makes a difference. And, as LABE noted, using buffer or hoote suite is much easier & quicker for scheduling posts to social networks.
BTW- LABE ... do you know something like hoote suite that I can use for Instagram? I think I saw that I can use Instagram from FB, but havent tried it yet...
